Sometimes it is really not about uncertainty in the future, its about showing the commitment to make a choice. Granted some events are more predictable than others, and for that it is understandable that we hesitate. Anything else however, serves to ruin plans, and these "sabotages" aren't supposed to be accounted for under Murphy's law.
I recall the countless times that proposed activities simply die off on their own because people "waited". The time frame's too short I get a "so last minute", the time frame's too long I get a "still so far away". So when should be the correct time?
It is not just that, I have people lamenting to me about how they don't have an aim and am wasting time i.e. searching for a job, and how they feel that they are paying a price higher when they could have gotten it at a lower price.
The answer is simply about choice, yes, there are many things to consider, but it is not impossible to make arrangements for it. Are you THAT certain, that you will have an important event coming up such as *cough* a family dinner *cough* on that week?
Excuses.
Hesitation.
I need people to show spontaneity, but I guess it may be too much to ask for.
