I was on my way from the station to the exit, when this guy actually asked me for 4 dollars to go back home. Reasons as to why he ended up with no money, I didn't really ask, what I did ask though, coming from Sales and Marketing, was to break down the 4 dollars and see what else he has to "pitch" to me.

He did break down the components while walking me to the exit - much to his dismay, I apparently had no change and was (as I sorta made him walk with me) unwilling to part with 10 dollars due to the shortage of change - on hindsight, I could have walked back and bought him a ticket for the benefit of the doubt.

Something to think about though, what if I happen to be in the same situation? Well, I did have a few of such, but I took the easy way out and took a cab to either ask my parents to help me out or leave something behind to go up to my flat and grab money. But what if I had been robbed, no phone, nothing? I could have gone and ask for the nearest police post though.

Hm....
